Dr. Carlos Patrickson, BSc, DDS – General Dentist
Dr. Patrickson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa in 1990, and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1994. He practiced dentistry in the military upon graduation, and opened Cloudnine Dental in 2000 after completing his service. Dr. Patrickson enjoys all aspects of dentistry and attends continuing education courses to stay committed to educating patients on their oral health. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time with his 5 children on their ranch riding horses and doing other outdoor activities. Dr. Patrickson also speaks Spanish.
Dr. Jenny Hui, DMD, MSc, Bsc – General Dentist
Dr. Jenny received her Bachelor of Science degree for cell biology and genetics from the University of British Columbia in 1999, before earning her Master of Science degree in 2001 for Oral Biology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2006. Dr. Jenny has since participated in dental research focusing on the molecular basis for embryonic facial and jaw development. She enjoys practicing family dentistry and treating patients of all ages and actively pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest in dental treatment. Besides dentistry, Jenny plays piano and practices martial arts.
Dr. Blair Fleming, CD, BSc, DDS – General Dentist
Dr. Fleming obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Dalhousie University of Halifax in 1982. He comes from a military background and served in the Canadian Armed Forces upon graduation. Dr. Fleming then found himself back in Edmonton where he married his wife and raised 2 grown children and a granddaughter. Dr. Fleming places great emphasis on preventative dentistry and is committed to educating patients on their oral health. Outside the office, Dr. Fleming’s hobbies include camping, photography, astronomy, vintage motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. David Milner, BSc, DDS – General Dentist
Dr. Milner graduated from the University of Alberta in 1987 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Milner began practicing immediately after graduating in a private practice in north Edmonton before joining the Cloudnine Dental team in 2017. With 30 years of experience in dental care, Dr. Milner enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has been blessed to share his dental expertise with patients in Honduras, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala as well as the Philippines. Dr. Milner and his wife have four grown children. Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, biking and sea kayaking in a variety of places.
Dr. Palwinder Kaur, DDS – General Dentist
Dr. Kaur earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 2017. With an emphasis on patient comfort, she believes in a personalized approach to dental treatment, and that good oral health begins with open and honest communication. She likes to take the time to get to know her patients’ needs and expectations and strives to create an anxiety-free experience for patients of all ages. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kaur enjoys spending time with her family, as well as being in nature, running, painting and travelling. Dr. Kaur joined Cloudnine Dental in the fall of 2020 and is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
Helen Vu – Registered Dental Hygienist
Helen has been a registered dental hygienist since 2009 and joined the Cloudnine Dental team in 2010. She enjoys her career and the friendships that she has built with her coworkers and patients. To Helen, the most rewarding part of her job is providing her patients with thorough dental hygiene care while ensuring their comfort throughout their appointment. In her spare time, Helen loves spending time with her husband and two little kids. She also enjoys traveling and hanging out with her friends and family.
Gyopar Macovei-Benczur – Registered Dental Hygienist
After moving to Edmonton from Transylvania (Romania), Gyopar graduated with a Dental Hygienist diploma from the University of Alberta in 2011. She started working at Cloudnine Dental in June of 2012, and over their eight years of working as a dental hygienist she has enjoyed improving the oral and general health of her patients. In her spare time, Gyopar loves spending time with family. With three kids and a puppy, life can never get too boring!
Fadi Faragalla – Registered Dental Hygienist
Fadi earned his Bachelor degree in 1991 and his post-graduate degree in Oral Public Health and Public Dentistry in 1997 from the University of Alexandria in Egypt. Fadi moved to Canada after 12 years practicing dentistry in Egypt and graduated from Oxford College of Dental Hygiene in Toronto before attending the Local Anaesthesia program at the University of Alberta. Fadi has been working as a dental hygienist in Canada since 2007, and joined the Cloudnine Dental team in May 2015. Fadi’s passion is to improve overall oral public health and participate in raising public awareness of oral hygiene. His goal is to provide gentle, painless dental care to their clients. “I always like to remind my clients that the best thing they can wear is their smile.”
